Palin Roswell Visit Brings Snow

Sarah Palin came to Roswell this past week (Tuesday
12/01/09), and all we got for it was this snow!






I could care less about any particular political person/
entity/platform/etc., but I thought it was an interesting
dance of synchronicity:

Palin visits...we get snow. :D

We were suddenly plagued with stupid cold temperatures
(between 18 to 29 degrees at night), intermittent snow
showers and snow accumulation, cloudy grey skies, etc...
since she stopped in Tuesday for her book signing.

Today, it finally reached 55 degrees and sunny.
Wooopdeeefrickindooo! It's usually in the 60's & 70's,
this time of year, at least it has been the last few years.

Am I having fun? Ya' DARN right I am!


She hasn't quite mastered the subtle art of sarcasm yet, has she?

I hope this Thanksgiving Day (for those who celebrate it)

By "wise", I mean "able to easily push yourself away from
the table before you eat so much that you're too full to get
up from your chair or even breathe.

It's Monday: Long Live Chauncey

Thought I'd post the pic I took of "Chauncey,
The Baby Tarantula" (at least I THINK he was a baby)
that visited me this summer. I called him Chauncey
because he looked like a "Chauncey".

A dear friend of mine gave me a new Nikon Coolpix camera
(birthday AND! Christmas gift, he said), which I've finally,
after a considerable amount of time, figured out how to
use it and upload the images.

The camera really wasn't hard to learn or use. It's all
about timing...mine!:D I have my own "timing" when it comes
to getting things accomplished. Some folk call it
procrastination. I call it...uhhh...procrastination.


Ya' don't say.


Anywho...

Here he is in all his li'l spidery glory:




Sidenote: Chauncey was found dead on the rocks the next day. *sniff*
I think a tarantula wasp might have gotten to him, or something.


Can we PLEASE have a moment of silence?

Oh well, c'est la vie!
