A Rip Roarin' Start!

The first two weeks of birthday season have gotten
off to a rip roarin' start, and tomorrow is the big
day. YAY! I haven't planned anything special, except
going out to lunch at one of my fav restaurants, and
THEN! on to see

Yay! Birthday Season Begins!

It's MAY1st!! Yay! My Birthday Season has officially begun!
I may have posted about this before. I know I posted it on
Twitter, and forgot to post it here, hence the re-post.

I believe every day is a blessing not guaranteed to anyone,
BUT! my "birthday" (May 13th) has always been a special and
joyful occasion for me, even when I choose to celebrate it alone.
One day just isn't enough!

SO, I decided that May 1st of each year would herald the
beginning of my birthday season and it would last
six months ending November 13th of each juuuuuust in time
for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, etc.


Oh! I get it! The celebration never ends, huh?


EXACTLY! Now! Where are my magic bubbles?


Yep. The next six months should prove interesting.

I Find It Deliciously Interesting...

I know. I know. There's a seems to be a lot
of fear (and the possibility of chaos) brewing
regarding a potential swine flu epidemic.

Folks have a legitimate right to be concerned,
for their own and their family's welfare. And,
believe me, I'm not trying to lessen the seriousness
of a potentially deadly situation that seems to
be threatening the whole world,

BUT!

I find it deliciously interesting that one of the stock
market pundits on CNBC TV(4/27/09) and one of the
AP articles pointed out that stocks went up sharply
for three out of four of the pharmaceutical companies
who developed and have stockpiled the anti-viral
medicines Tamiflu and Restylane®, which (as a personal
side note) were supposedly developed to be given
during the big "bird-flu" epidemic).


What? The bird-flu didn't work out as planned?

Doh!
